So much going on and such little time

So for a while I've been meaning to seriously update my blog, not just posting new artworks but also change the look of my personal blogs, (the first thing I plan to change is the banner).

I've been really busy so here's whats been going on in this crazy topsy-turvy coaster I call my life;

I recently just finished designing a logo for a big event and was given the giant approval thumbs up so I'm really excited to see how it comes out.

While working on my portfolio, I've been working on new art to make my own Art Book that I can sell at Cons and such. I don't know how many pages yet and I'm still working on a title but what I can say is the book will have a bunch of brand new art that will only be in the book and not posted online.

My goal is to have everything ready for MetroCon (which I can't wait for)

And I've been invited to help volunteer for this organization made by my good friend Nick, it's a nonprofit organization that aims to help kids and teens become more creative with the arts since schools have been cutting art programs left and right (I guess I had it lucky back in my high school days).

That is all (for now) there are a bunch more things I'm doing but if I took the time to write it all, I would be up all night. So until then, keep checking back here or visit my other sites for a bunch more updated artwork. Cheers!!

Upcoming Trip to LA and more...

A lot of things have been happening lately (which is a good thing). I'm taking a year off from 

SVA but it's okay, I'll be taking this time to focus on my projects including my friend's children's book and the Zombies Vs. Dinosaurs web-comic. As mentioned in the title, I will be taking a 2-week long trip to LA to Job hunt. I'll be chronicling my adventures in LA as the days go by so stay tuned.

Senior Thesis Entry #4

I've been told many people love the idea of having us art students keep a blog about our senior thesis, so I guess it's a good thing I was doing these entries. I have made a senior thesis page just for all the concept work and to keep everyone updated with the status of my movie.

I'm aiming for my movie to be close to 3-4 minutes long. I've been told if it's 5 mins I will end up killing myself from all the animation I'll need to be doing

Senior Thesis Entry #3

Today I got to go over my story in Story Workshop and many believe my story has a lot of potential, which is sweet so now I can continue working on it.

I posted some of the storyboard on my "storyboard" page if you want to check it out.

The Billboard is a prop for the story. Some don't agree with the ending so hopefully when I have to cross that bridge I'll know what to do.

Omg it's Silent Bob!

So a lot has happened over the past few days. Been mainly preoccupied with working on my portfolio so April is Judgement Day for me. Luckily I got to get rid of some of that stress when I got to go meet my favorite writer and all time hero, Kevin Smith.

It was truly a great day. My creativity started to flow again and I heard many inspiring words from my hero that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. This was a warm up sketch I did yesterday before class began.
